Rolling bearing type selection-04

The working environment temperature of the bearing, bearing seal and special requirements for friction torque, vibration, noise, etc. should be considered.

1. Clearance selection

Clearance is an important factor in whether rolling bearings can work normally. It is divided into axial clearance and radial clearance. Choosing the appropriate clearance can make the load reasonably distributed between the rolling elements of the bearing; it can limit the axial and radial displacement of the shaft (or shell) and ensure the rotation accuracy of the shaft; it can make the bearing work normally at the specified temperature; Reduce vibration and noise, which is beneficial to extending the life of bearings. therefore. When selecting bearings, appropriate bearing clearance must be selected.

When selecting bearing clearance, the following aspects should be considered:

1. The working conditions of the bearing, such as load, temperature, speed, etc.;

2. Requirements for bearing performance (rotation accuracy, friction torque, vibration, noise);

3. When the bearing is an interference fit with the shaft and housing hole, the bearing clearance is reduced;

4. When the bearing is working, the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings causes the bearing clearance to decrease;

5. Due to the different expansion coefficients of the shaft and shell materials, the bearing clearance decreases or increases.
